Materials of construction
Empti cartridges use medical-grade stainless steel, food-grade silicone gaskets, borosilicate glass, and lead-free ceramic. Material selection is the first line of defense against leaching.
Leaching test methodology
Migration testing covers arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury under accelerated conditions. Empti commissions this testing on request rather than on every production lot, so ask for it when your state filing or COA requires it and we will arrange it against the relevant lot.
