Regulated markets test finished goods for heavy metals. Starting with hardware made from validated materials reduces your risk of a failed COA. This document explains our materials and testing approach.

What's covered

  • Materials of construction
  • Leaching test methodology
  • Documentation we provide

Materials of construction

Empti cartridges use medical-grade stainless steel, food-grade silicone gaskets, borosilicate glass, and lead-free ceramic. Material selection is the first line of defense against leaching.

Leaching test methodology

Hardware is tested for arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury migration under accelerated conditions. We retain lot-level documentation.

Documentation

Heavy-metal test summaries and material declarations are available on request and for select SKUs as downloads below.
